Our Process Safety Control Systems monitor and control various types of safety equipment, designed with a specialist understanding of the processes involved and the methods of control required.
Emergency (ESD) Control Systems
AMOT Emergency Control Systems (ESD) vary from a single point monitor using a specialized and dedicated relay to basic digital safety I/O, through to SIL 1, 2 and 3 voting systems, as defined in IEC61508 and IEC61511.
Fire and Gas Control Systems
AMOT offers many types of fire and gas control systems, from a single point detector often controlling a PLC associated with rotary machines, to plant wide fire and gas control systems with gas, fire and smoke detection usually utilizing a PLC based F&G system meeting NFPA 72 and EN54. AMOT also offers control of the Fire Pump Monitor System.
Fusible Plugs
Complementing our safety systems in the fire and gas detection area, our fusible plug system is a pneumatic controller that charges and controls single or multiple fusible plug loop circuits, each of which has a number of eutectic type detectors, which when breached through fire or temperature, can operate remote alarms or start fire pump control systems automatically.
